Plan your seats
Start with the count. Enter how many drivers need each course, when you need theory finished and who's paying. The planner builds a summary you can attach to your request with one click. It's not a quote and it doesn't reserve anything.
Group enrollment planner
Count your drivers by course, then send the plan with your request. Nothing here is a quote or a checkout.
What's available today, and what isn't yet
You should know exactly what you're getting before you plan around it. Here's the honest picture.
| Capability | Status | How it works today |
|---|---|---|
| Group quote from a person | Available | Send a request. A team member confirms courses and headcount, then sends a written quote. |
| Mixed courses in one group | Available | Class A, Class B and Hazmat can all go on one request. |
| Individual seat purchase | Available | Any driver can be enrolled at checkout: Class A $199, Class B $199, Hazmat $199. |
| Completion reported to FMCSA | Available | The training provider reports each driver's completion to the Training Provider Registry. |
| Self-serve multi-seat checkout | Not yet | Request group enrollment instead. |
| Seat assignment dashboard | Not yet | We set up each driver's access from the roster you send after the quote. |
Get your roster ready
You won't need driver details to send a request. After you accept a quote, we'll ask for what each driver needs to get access and have their completion reported. Have it ready and enrollment moves quickly.
- Each driver's full legal name, exactly as it appears on their license or permit
- Each driver's own email address. Course access goes there, so don't use one shared company inbox.
- The course each driver needs: Class A, Class B, Hazmat, or two courses for drivers adding hazmat
- License or permit details the provider needs to report completion to FMCSA: license or CLP number and issuing state. We'll tell you how the training provider collects them. Never put them in the request form.
- A contact at your company who can answer roster questions and confirm changes
Before you count a driver, check they need ELDT
Drivers whose Class A or Class B CDL, or P, S or H endorsement, was issued before February 7, 2022 don't need ELDT for that credential. Drivers upgrading from Class B to Class A do need it, including behind-the-wheel. Check every case before you buy seats you don't need.
Hazmat groups
Bulk hazmat ELDT is the simplest group to plan, because the requirement is theory only. Each driver completes hazmat theory, then takes the state's hazmat knowledge test. Drivers also need a TSA security threat assessment for the H endorsement. Online theory doesn't replace it, so start that process in parallel.
How to buy ELDT training for employees

Drivers train, provider reports
Drivers get access by email, complete the theory, and each completion goes to the Training Provider Registry. See how reporting works.
Just one or two drivers and ready now? Enrolling at checkout is often quicker. Our step-by-step guide to getting ELDT online walks drivers through it.
Request group enrollment
Takes about a minute. We'll follow up by email to confirm courses, driver count and next steps. This doesn't commit you to anything.

Group enrollment questions
Can I buy several ELDT seats at once online?
Not yet. Self-serve multi-seat checkout isn't available. Request group enrollment and a person will quote and set it up, or buy one seat at a time at the individual checkout.
Is there group or fleet pricing?
Group requests are quoted per course and driver. Every request gets a written quote for the courses and headcount you confirm.
Can I mix Class A, Class B and Hazmat in one group?
Yes. Most groups are mixed. The planner counts each course separately, and the quote lists each one.
Can one driver take Class A and Hazmat?
Yes. They're separate courses with separate completions. Count that driver once under Class A and once under Hazmat.
Do drivers share one login?
No. Each driver gets their own course access, because each completion is reported to FMCSA under that driver's own name and license details.
